Highlights and reaction from Nevada football's scrimmage at Carson High-NSN

Nevada football made its first public appearance as a team Saturday at Carson High when it held an open practice in front of Wolf Pack fans in Nevada's capital.

That marked the 10th of Nevada's 15 allowed spring camp practices with four more coming this week, including the Silver & Blue Spring Game, which will be played Saturday afternoon at Mackay Stadium. Choate was pleased with the practice, which included some scrimmage time.

"Our guys came out and I really appreciate the focus and energy they had," Choate said. "Good competition. I saw some really good things from both sides and in the kicking game. I think it's going to be a great film for us to go back and learn from just to keep pushing forward. We have another week of this, and we have a lot of work to do in a week. There were some things that were awesome operationally. Execution. Some really good physical play. And then were some things that weren't very good in that regard. We'll go back, look at film, it never lies and we'll get this thing squared away."
